Honoring Hometown Buckeye Heroes - Saturday, April 29, 2006

This year, we honored students from Michigan attending The Ohio State University who have achieved academic excellence.

Mabel Freeman, Assistant Vice President, Undergraduate Admissions and First Year Experience, gave a wonderful presentation about how selective a university Ohio State has become. Things have changed quite a bit from the days of open enrollment! Half of this year's freshman class graduated in the top ten percent of their high school's graduating class.

Congratulations again to all the students who were honored. Our thanks to Mabel, and all the students, parents, and alumni club members who attended to hear her speak. They made the banquet a great success.
