Dana Wagner is the recipient of the 2007 Detroit OSU Alumni Scholarship. She is of great lineage being a third generation Buckeye and will eventually be the ninth member of her family to graduate from The Ohio State University.
Dana was one of the top seniors at Bloomfield Hills Lahser High School and graduated summa cum laude. She received numerous academic, athletic and leadership awards during her four years at Lahser and even represented her class twice in the school's Homecoming Court.
During her senior year she was the Senior Class Vice-President, a member of the National Honor Society and Phi Beta Kappa, captain of the girls varsity basketball team, a starter on the girls varsity soccer team (which reached the state finals for the second year in a row), a recipient of the U. S. Army National Scholar Athlete Award and named a MHSAA Scholar Athlete and a OAA Scholar Athlete. She received scholarships as a Detroit Pistons/Shock Student Athlete of the Month and from the American Association of University Women.
Dana has been accepted into the Fisher School of Business Honors Program. She hopes to quickly get involved in campus service by being an Ohio State Welcome Leader.
She plans to study abroad during her time at OSU but currently is looking forward to football games, learning her way around campus, walking High Street, living on South Campus and experiencing the thrill of being an Ohio State Buckeye.
